ELIBA's parent organization, AJOB, has been providing English language training to the limited English speaking community since 1974. Instructors are all trained to provide quality instruction, and they also have teaching experience in the United States and abroad to enable them to teach with an understanding of the diverse culture of people that ELIBA serves.

Authorized Under Federal Law

This school is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students (F-1and M-1). The English Language Institute of the Bay Area (ELIBA) provides training services to students who possess either an F-1 "student" or M-1 "vocational" visa for full-time study.

ELIBA offers the ideal curriculum and quality instruction for those international students desiring to enter an American college or university. It offers a variety of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and Testing of EFL (TOEFL) levels to meet the linguistic and test preparation needs of students.

Professional international students possessing an M-1 visa will learn business, clerical and computer literacy skills in order to enhance their knowledge of the business world.

Additionally, for no additional cost, all students may enroll in one of a number of classes in writing, conversation and computer literacy as long as they have satisfied the minimum required weekly enrollment hours at ELIBA.

Finally, students will receive academic and supportive counseling services throughout their duration of stay at ELIBA. Please note that ELIBA offers a business and business English-related program for those who possess or seek an M-1 visa.
