  Clerical/Computer Literacy

AJOB provides skills training in the areas of clerical work and computer literacy.  This class is taught by an experienced and certified instructor who also has hands-on  and teaching experience in the field of clerical and computer literacy.

Open Entry and Open Exit

Each semester is 17 weeks long and this class continues into the summer.  Students may enter and exit at any time during the semester.

Hours and Days

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m
Monday through Thursday

The Clerical portion of the class covers some of the following topics:
  Filing Introduction to the Clerical Work Culture
  Typing Light Bookkeeping
  10-Key Adding Machine Business Telephone Usage

 

 The Computer Literacy portion of the class covers some of the following topics:
  Word Processing Access
  Spreadsheet Power Point
  Browsing the Internet Excel

Tuition is $1,700.00 per semester (17 weeks) plus a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.  Students who are eligible for AJOB's federally, state or locally funded programs may attend at no cost.
